Selena Gomez loves her Selenators, but she almost got knocked down by a group of them (as well as some pesky cameramen) during Paris Fashion Week! In a new video, the “I Want You to Know” star tries to get back into her car, but she gets swarmed by paparazzi and fans who are trying to take her photograph.
She throws her arms up to cover her face, and it looks like she whispers, “Oh my god.”
Wow, that’s really terrifying! We’ve heard that her friends are worried that the star is fed up with fame, and she’s admitted herself that she has difficulties dealing with the spotlight, so we hope that she’s doing okay. She once shoved a camera guy for getting totally up in her face, but thankfully things didn’t escalate that far this time.
Selena Gomez reached out to a struggling, potentially suicidal fan on social media early Thursday, sharing an inspirational message of perseverance and love. When she noticed that one of her admirers seemed to be going through a terrible time, Gomez followed the individual and left a lengthy comment. She then took a screenshot of hopeful message and posted it on her own Instagram account. See a photo below.
She wrote: “By me following you is not me saying it’s ok to think these thoughts. It’s not me saying ‘hey you said sad things, so I’m going to follow you to make you feel better.’ God puts us in situations that are so unexplainably difficult for a reason. There is someone in the world feeling so much, just like you. There is someone who will always have it better or have it way worse than you.”
Gomez added: “The point of all of that is for [you] to feel not alone. My point is, you are not alone in this world. People everyday feel so many emotions they wish they could turn it off. But that’s not why we are here. We are here for relationships, for people just like us who feel worthless.”
She concluded: “Your purpose is to share, help, encourage. Remember that. Please. Before you think of taking your life, think of all the life’s you could save. I love you. More importantly there is a God that will love more than I ever could.”
In her Instagram caption, Gomez wrote, “I know I meant lives. I don’t care about grammar. I’m sorry I had to share. Every life is worth it.” What do you think of what she had to say?
Zedd reveals in a new interview that he met Selena Gomez for the first time because he had to use the bathroom. For real. Listen to what he told 97.1 AMP Radio below.
“It was about as random as it gets,” Zedd told the hosts about his first meeting with Gomez. “I had the day off… and I decided to go buy stuff for my house because I just moved, so I have an empty house, and I had to pee. I had my engineer with me, so I was like, ‘I hope they have a bathroom.’ He was like, ‘Just go to the studio over there,’ which was across the street from my studio. He’s like, ‘They have a bathroom, just go and use that.’”
Zedd continued, “So I walk in, and John, the head of our label, who had just signed Selena, was there… He was like, ‘Have you ever met Selena?’ That was literally the next thing he said… So he introduced me to her, and was like, ‘Hey, she’s cool, maybe we should make a song together.’ And then like a week later, we start working on a song. All because I had to pee.”
He went on to describe the process of working with Gomez on “I Want You To Know,” being in the studio when she recorded the track, and discussed the already-shot music video. Zedd also talked about playing Las Vegas, wanting to work with Adele, his great experience collaborating with Lady Gaga, and a lot more. Hear what he had to say in the audio below, and tell us what you think.

You’re killing us with these relationship teases, Selena Gomez!
Yes, we’ve heard countless times that the “Come and Get It” singer is collaborating with DJ Zedd. And multiple sources have told E! News they are just friends.
But then why are their social media pictures so freaking cute?!
On Monday night, Gomez got fans buzzing once again with her latest post featuring her rumored EDM boyfriend dressed in a classic suit. “Harry to my Sally,” she captioned online. “#Feb22 #IWYTK.”
The photo may speak for itself, but what about those hashtags?
For starters, “IWYTK” could be the abbreviation for their new collaboration rumored to be titled “I Want You to Know.” And the special day may just be the time when fans can hear this special sound.
“I’ll leave it at this: I have a good feeling you might hear it before the end of the month,” One Republic singer Ryan Tedder shared with Billboard over Grammys weekend. “The new Zedd-Selena record that has been buzzing about? That’s my song.”
He added, “[Zedd] crushed it. I went on a run today and listened to it on repeat in my headphones. And Selena did a bang-up job. She killed it.”
While fans eagerly wait for the single to drop, some can’t help but speculate as to whether or not this work relationship has turned into something more.
When asked about the pair’s relationship status, a source close to Gomez told E! News. “Everything is going great with him. She is really happy and they are having fun.”
Other friends, however, have their guards up for the 22-year-old.
“Selena’s friends are a little bit wary while remaining hopeful,” an insider shared with E! News. “But ultimately right now, he is making Selena happy and he is not Justin Bieber so that’s a good thing.”
Perhaps the heart really just wants what it wants.
As anticipation grows for Selena Gomez‘s newest single with the one and only Zedd, the “Come and Get It” crooner is teasing fans about her latest project with some sexy photos.
In what could be pics from the song’s music video, the 22-year-old showed off a much longer hairstyle while working a pair of retro sunglasses.
“I WANT YOU TO KNOW,” she captioned on Instagram while sticking out her tongue. Flashbacks to Miley Cyrus, anyone? Just a few hours later, she shared a picture while sitting at a table in the exact same outfit.
But wait, there’s more! Gomez also showed off her assets in a sexy selfie.
Joined by two close girlfriends, the former Barney & Friends star couldn’t help but reveal a bit of cleavage while posing in a tank-top. “I’m better under your reflection,” she captioned. “I Want You To Know.”
For those who haven’t been following Gomez’s music career, the star is expected to drop her latest single as early as Feb. 22.
“I’ll leave it at this: I have a good feeling you might hear it before the end of the month,” One Republic singer Ryan Tedder shared with Billboard just last weekend. “The new Zedd-Selena record that has been buzzing about? That’s my song.”
And while nobody knows if Zedd will be making an appearance in the music video, one thing is clear: This duo loves working together.
“Everything is going great with him,” a source close to Gomez told E! News. “She is really happy and they are having fun.”
Don’t worry,Selena Gomez, we’d have trouble pronouncing Zasvlaski, too.
The Texas-born beauty, who is currently filming her upcoming flick The Fundamentals of Caregiving in Atlanta, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a hilarious video of herself and BFF Theresa Mingus trying to pronounce Zedd’s name.
And no, we’re not talking about his stage name Zedd (we presume the ladies have that one covered) we’re referring to the 25-year-old Russian-German DJs real name Anton Zaslavski.
In the clip, which Selena later removed from Instagram account although a sneaky fan uploaded the video to YouTube, the 22-year-old stunner and her pal make a series of attempts to say the tongue-twisting moniker, but their efforts only result in an epic fail.
“V! There’s a ‘v’ in it,” Gomez insists to her bestie as the two burst into a fit of giggles.
Pronunciation aside, the video certainly won’t help but a stop to the romance rumors that continue to plague the adorable pair.
In fact, the music producer even ventured out to Atlanta for the weekend to join Gomez as she prepared to start filming her forthcoming movie alongsidePaul Rudd.
And while the are-they-or-aren’t they questions continue to fuel the rumor mill, we do know the Spring Breakers star is happy spending time with the EDM stud, with whom she is also collaborating on new music.
“Everything is going great with him. She is really happy and they are having fun,” a source close to the singer told E! News last week.
Since teaming up in the studio, the two have been spending a lot of time together—sharing numerous photos on their Instagram accounts and even showing off some subtle PDA at a Golden Globes after-party.
Still, Selena’s pals apparently aren’t completely sold on the new man in her life.
“Selena’s friends are a little bit wary while remaining hopeful,” the source said, adding that her pals are questioning where the relationship is headed, “but ultimately right now he is making Selena happy and he is not Justin Bieber so that’s a good thing.”
