Selena Gomez loves Zedd’s “beautiful eyes.” The singer sang her rumored boyfriend’s praises in a new interview on Radio Disney’s “The Alli Simpson Show,” which airs Friday night.
When asked about the deejay and producer, with whom she collaborated on “I Want You To Know,” Gomez said, “He’s great, and he cares so much about the meaning of his songs.” And on a personal level, she added, “He’s this cute little German, and he’s got really beautiful eyes, and he’s very sweet and funny.”
And while she thinks he’s “cute,” Gomez also says she respects how hard-working he is. She also added that he’s “very talented.”
As Gossip Cop reported, the two met by coincidence. Zedd was nearby the studio in which Gomez was recording and desperately needed to use the bathroom. He noted an interview with 97.1 AMP Radio, “So I walk in, and John, the head of our label, who had just signed Selena, was there… He was like, ‘Have you ever met Selena?’ That was literally the next thing he said… So he introduced me to her, and was like, ‘Hey, she’s cool, maybe we should make a song together.’ And then like a week later, we start working on a song. All because I had to pee.”
Since then, the two have been super close, with Zedd even visiting Gomez on the Atlanta set of The Revised Fundamentals Of Caregiving before she began filming. For the past few months, the two have been repeatedly spotted together smiling and laughing. What do you think about Gomez’s latest comments about Zedd?
Selena Gomez is not having $20,000 butt surgery, and she most assuredly would not get it for Justin Bieber, despite an absurd claim from an even more absurd webloid. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the rumor. We’re told it’s “such a stupid lie.”
According to the embarrassingly inaccurate Celeb Dirty Laundy, Gomez is not over Bieber and believes the way to her ex-boyfriend’s heart is via a bigger butt. The amateur psychiatrists at the webloid allege that Gomez’s self-esteem and ego have been destroyed after her relationship with Bieber, and a really big rump would cure all of that. The site says Gomez has diligently studied the various women who have come in and out of Bieber’s life, and upon “careful examination,” she concluded that the common denominator has been they’ve all had larger behinds.
The blog then quotes the equally unreliable OK! as saying,“Selena has always hated how flat her butt is, and she doesn’t care if she has to drop $20,000 to get the derriere of her dreams.” Of course, the brain trust at CDL doesn’t realize that the magazine’s (made up) quote about how she’s supposedly “always hated” her butt undermines its entirely fabricated premise that Gomez now wants a bigger behind because of Bieber.
Accurate reporting and logic, of course, have never been the webloid’s strong suit. As you may recall, Gossip Cop has repeatedlyexposed CDL for making up stories, including one which claimed Gomez was going to leak nude photos and video of Bieber. That was 100 percent untrue, as was a fabricated tale two weeks ago about them secretly meeting up in Paris. Now, an actual Gomez insider tells Gossip Cop exclusively that the site’s latest claim about her getting butt surgery for Bieber is “a stupid lie.”
Selena Gomez loves her Selenators, but she almost got knocked down by a group of them (as well as some pesky cameramen) during Paris Fashion Week! In a new video, the “I Want You to Know” star tries to get back into her car, but she gets swarmed by paparazzi and fans who are trying to take her photograph.
She throws her arms up to cover her face, and it looks like she whispers, “Oh my god.”
Wow, that’s really terrifying! We’ve heard that her friends are worried that the star is fed up with fame, and she’s admitted herself that she has difficulties dealing with the spotlight, so we hope that she’s doing okay. She once shoved a camera guy for getting totally up in her face, but thankfully things didn’t escalate that far this time.
Selena Gomez reached out to a struggling, potentially suicidal fan on social media early Thursday, sharing an inspirational message of perseverance and love. When she noticed that one of her admirers seemed to be going through a terrible time, Gomez followed the individual and left a lengthy comment. She then took a screenshot of hopeful message and posted it on her own Instagram account. See a photo below.
She wrote: “By me following you is not me saying it’s ok to think these thoughts. It’s not me saying ‘hey you said sad things, so I’m going to follow you to make you feel better.’ God puts us in situations that are so unexplainably difficult for a reason. There is someone in the world feeling so much, just like you. There is someone who will always have it better or have it way worse than you.”
Gomez added: “The point of all of that is for [you] to feel not alone. My point is, you are not alone in this world. People everyday feel so many emotions they wish they could turn it off. But that’s not why we are here. We are here for relationships, for people just like us who feel worthless.”
She concluded: “Your purpose is to share, help, encourage. Remember that. Please. Before you think of taking your life, think of all the life’s you could save. I love you. More importantly there is a God that will love more than I ever could.”
In her Instagram caption, Gomez wrote, “I know I meant lives. I don’t care about grammar. I’m sorry I had to share. Every life is worth it.” What do you think of what she had to say?
Zedd reveals in a new interview that he met Selena Gomez for the first time because he had to use the bathroom. For real. Listen to what he told 97.1 AMP Radio below.
“It was about as random as it gets,” Zedd told the hosts about his first meeting with Gomez. “I had the day off… and I decided to go buy stuff for my house because I just moved, so I have an empty house, and I had to pee. I had my engineer with me, so I was like, ‘I hope they have a bathroom.’ He was like, ‘Just go to the studio over there,’ which was across the street from my studio. He’s like, ‘They have a bathroom, just go and use that.’”
Zedd continued, “So I walk in, and John, the head of our label, who had just signed Selena, was there… He was like, ‘Have you ever met Selena?’ That was literally the next thing he said… So he introduced me to her, and was like, ‘Hey, she’s cool, maybe we should make a song together.’ And then like a week later, we start working on a song. All because I had to pee.”
He went on to describe the process of working with Gomez on “I Want You To Know,” being in the studio when she recorded the track, and discussed the already-shot music video. Zedd also talked about playing Las Vegas, wanting to work with Adele, his great experience collaborating with Lady Gaga, and a lot more. Hear what he had to say in the audio below, and tell us what you think.
